Audrey Snyder was selected alongside her collaborator Joe Riley as Emerging Artist Fellows at Socrates Sculpture Park in Queens, NY. They are participating in a Research and Design Fellowship with the Fresh Kills Parks Alliance, an ongoing proposal for art projects on a former landfill in Staten Island, NY.

Emma Fineman graduated from Maryland Institute College of Art in Spring 2013 with her BFA Magna Cum Laude. She is currently attending the Royal College of Art in London pursuing her MFA.

Casey Gollan gave a public artist talk Post-Democracy Paradise-Lost presentation with his collaborator Victoria Sobel recently at The New School | Eugene Lang College.
Casey and Victoria are 2015-2017 Vera List Center Fellows, whose project is part of the Vera List Center's Post Democracy cycle of programs.
Casey is this fall's Alumni Visiting Artist Lecturer so come out to support him on November 11th.

Megan Abell has worked for Airbnb for the last two years doing Government Relations and Community Engagement. She recently took on a new position at Airbnb as California Statewide Organizer, overseeing community affairs for the entire state.

Casey Gollan and Victoria Sobel just received the 2015-2017 Fellowship with The New School's Vera List Center for Art and Politics.
"Victoria Sobel and Casey Gollan's work grapples with incoherence, non-aspiration, and compromise in the face of entropic institutions, systems, and paradigms. During their fellowship, they will explore alternative models of student governance, transparency, and accountability, informed by their ongoing engagement around the controversial introduction of tuition at Cooper Union, their alma mater."

Julia Glennon graduated with a degree in Sustainable Community Development from Prescott College in Arizona then spent a year at The New School in the food studies program. That made her want to keep learning as much as she could about food. She's worked in various food and agriculture-related jobs and started a pop-up restaurant in New Jersey. She was recruited into the graduate program at the University of Arizona and is working towards her MFA in Agricultural Education. She's also working as a research assistant for Dr. Gary Nabhan, the nature writer, food and farming activist.

"The newly commissioned work for Left Coast, titled PROVISIONING, brings together Futurefarmers founder, Amy Franceschini (b. 1970) with Audrey Snyder and Joe Riley. Audrey Snyder first hailed to Futurefarmers in 2006 from Oxbow School in the Napa Valley of California. Audrey has woven in and out of Futurefarmers projects'Soil Kitchen, Soul Sermons and Tree University. Audrey's deep interest in food systems manifests in the palate through hyper local menus and work with small farms. Joe Riley is a sea worthy artist and activist involved in the long struggle for (truly) public education. This triad has assembled for CUNY with an aligned interest in the seafaring journey as a collective departure into the sea of the unknown."

Casey Gollan is working at the School for Poetic Computation, an artist run school in New York founded in 2013. A small group of students and faculty work closely to explore the intersections of code, design, hardware and theory - focusing especially on artistic intervention. It's a hybrid of a school, residency and research group.

Our daughter graduated summa cum laude from NYU with a double major in Studio Art and Art History. She is now working for Calvin Klein. She is contemplating getting a law degree and pursuing a career repatriating art objects. She still keeps in touch with several of her Oxbow classmates and they have regular reunions in Manhattan... I would say that Oxbow was the best semester that any of my four children spent in their cumulative 16 years of high school. Our daughter was the right kid, and for the right kid you do a wonderful job. You changed her life. Thank you.

In the year leading up to Oxbow, I became obsessed with the program, I was entranced with reading testimonials and researching interdisciplinary learning styles. When I arrived at Oxbow I was never disappointed, despite my endless expectations. I will forever cherish the time I spent at Oxbow and the connections I made there. Through Oxbow I was able to hone into the ideas I was thinking about, to refine my artistic process and to see the world in a new light every day of my life. I'm not going to say that without Oxbow I wouldn't be the person I am today, but I will say that without Oxbow it would have taken me at least four years to become who I am after one Oxbow semester.
