Maya Shengold

Maya Shengold is a Philadelphia based artist and art educator. She received her BA from Bennington College, where she concentrated in film and social sciences. Maya has exhibited textiles, works on paper, films and videos in New York, Vermont, and Pennsylvania. Originally from upstate New York, Maya currently lives in Philadelphia PA, where she teaches visual art at Center for Creative Works in Wynnewood PA. In Philly Maya curates analog film screenings and organizes with Philly video art and expanded cinema collective Lino Kino. Maya is an Oxbow semester alum, and is very excited to return for her fourth summer of teaching at OSAC.
